This pier is located on the Morning Peninsula in Victoria in the heart of Dromana. Unlike many of the piers found in this stretch of coast, it is made of concrete rather than wood and shows the in the torment the ocean has subjected it to over the years in it’s gritty details. The concrete pylons create a mesmerizing geometry against the silky water as it moves around the coral encrusted structure. With a soothing colour palate and endless details for those who explore the image further this photograph speaks different stories to different viewers.
