Photograph details

Location: Sipadan Island, Malaysia
Time of year: Summer
Edition Size: Limited to 10 prints

This image was taken off Sipadan Island in Malaysia, one of the most inspiring reefs I’ve ever had the privilege of diving. Hovering off the reef twenty meters below the surface the water was filled with life from the sand to the surface. The schooling barracuda slowly spiralled into a vortex of shining textures and patterns as the fish below flashed bright colours, breaking the silver sky above. Moments like these underwater make you realise how much of the planet most people miss out on; like visiting a major city for the first time. What appears to be utter chaos as the traffic dodges and weaves amongst the pedestrians is actually a well organised system that live in complete harmony.
