This was my first workshop with Matt. What a fantastic experience! Matt shared so much of his valuable expertise and techniques with us. He also made sure we stopped and thought about what we were taking photos of and to look at lighting and backgrounds for the photos. I got so much from the workshop and highly recommend Matt.

Thanks for a great day Matt. I highly recommend the course if you are a beginner to photography. Matt makes learning easy, informative and I came away with a better understanding of exposure and how white balance affects photos.

Great knowledge, explained things in a easy manner and wasn't impatient to go over a few things more than once. Definitely an enjoyable day. Very well worth it!

I had a genuinely great day! As a complete beginner, I never felt overwhelmed or out of my depth. The session was structured really well—we focused on one camera feature or photography concept at a time, followed by hands-on activities to practice and build confidence with that skill. I felt like I was learning a lot, but in a relaxed, approachable way. Matt was friendly, supportive, and open to any questions, no matter how basic, without any judgment. Would recommend 🙂

Matt’s Melbourne Zoo workshop was incredibly valuable with regards to getting off the ground with beginner photography! Not only this, but Matt himself was very knowledgeable and super approachable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to begin their photography journey on the right foot.

Matt’s workshops are always hands on and great value. He makes technical concepts easy to understand and there’s lot of opportunities to practice what you gave learnt and ask questions. Matt is extremely skilled as a photographer and a teacher. I’ve completed a few of his workshops and highly recommend them to others.

I attended Matt’s “Melbourne by Night” workshop last night and, as expected, it was an exceptional evening. Matt not only makes all skill levels more than welcome and at ease but he provided friendly encouragement, advice and support to all, throughout the evening. Added to this was his humorous repartee as we moved between locations. Would recommend to anyone interested in photography and looking for fresh ideas and inspiration.

I have operated an outdoor Theme Park by the name of Funfields for a period of about 25 years. Over the years we have used professional photographers for some really good results. However this year we enlisted the services of Matt Krummins and the results were outstanding. Matt had to work with a number of talent on the day and he did it with ease. Everyone commented on how easy going he was and how easy it was to take his directions. The main difference was Matt's composition. He captured some dynamic shots. As we know we're always after the "money shot" and if you can get one in a shoot you're doing well. In this shoot Matt was able to deliver numerous money shots. I would recommend Matt for any photography shoot and a quick look on his website will show you how diverse his talent is.

Matt is a fun & helpful teacher. I joined the Beginners at Melbourne Zoo Course to learn using my new camera, and signed up for the Travel & Street Course afterwards. I learnt a lot from both sessions and I would definitely recommend anyone avid in photography to join Matt for fun & informative excursions.

Had a great time. Learned a lot and could see an immediate improvement in my photos.
