The wildlife zoo workshop was amazing! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to easily learn more about their camera, including creative tips and tricks to take great shots.

Recently returned from Matt Krumins Photography trip to Sri Lanka. It was a well planned adventure, with a terrific group and backup staff. Matt ensured that if a photo was possible we were going to get it! Always ready to give assistance with gear and settings I am sure everyone was delighted with their images. The accommodation great and the food simply delicious. Don’t hesitate.

I learnt so much in the Wildlife Photography workshop this week and feel much more confident with my camera settings. This is the third workshop I have attended with Matt and they have all been great. Participants had a range of experience and had different cameras and lenses but Matt was able to help us all get some great shots. A fun day out with a good balance of theory and practice. I really enjoyed the photography workshop at healesville. we covered basic to advanced components of the camera and walked around to different areas of the zoo to practice different techniques and settings. Matt gave us a book full of notes and tips, and small flashcards for our reference as well. I learnt alot over the day, and Matt is a patient, fun, knowledgeable, and engaging teacher - highly recommend!

Re the Mount Macedon macro course: This is a great course for anyone interested in macro photography - Matt is a patient and fun teacher - we all learned loads and had a brilliant time experimenting with LEDs and flashes to capture the fungi. Highly recommended!!

Yesterday I took part in Matt’s Wildlife workshop at Healesville Sanctuary. The workshop was really well organised, and Matt was good enough to bring a supertelephoto lens for me to try out. Matt's knowledge in photography, and different camera models, holds no bounds. He has an excellent, easy going style of teaching. I’ve never been able to achieve many sharp wildlife photos before, but after Matt’s tuition in the workshop, I came away with heaps of sharp images, even birds in flight. I highly recommend Matt’s workshops. Money well spent!

Matt is an excellent teacher outlining a range of different techniques and providing greater understanding of camera settings and how to choose the right settings for the situation. Small group photography workshop with Matt was a great learning experience and lots of fun. I learnt so much in just one day. Bonus, Matt is very familiar with a wide range of photographic equipment and also brings a truckload of equipment if you need to borrow something.

Spent Friday at Mt Macedon on Matt's macro workshop, I'm so glad I did. Recently purchased macro lens with little knowledge on how to get results. It's well worth signing up to Matt's workshops,( I'll definitely be attending more).. he explains and demonstrated everything , if you don't get it he will keep on until you do. It's definitely a personal vibe, he spends time with everyone. Thanks Matt I learnt so much, I now have a new genre that I'm passionate about, giving me a great excuse to get out in nature. I've been doing macro photography for several years, so I wasn't sure how much new I would learn from Matt's Macro and Textures Workshop. I was pleasantly surprised by how informative and inspiring it was. Matt shared a range of creative lighting techniques and setups that have already given me new ideas to try. I recently did Matt’s “Bright Boot Camp”. It was a fabulous five days in a beautiful part of the world learning more and more about making great images. Matt is a highly skilled pro photographer and also a very accomplished teacher. He is able to pitch his knowledge at any level of skill you might have, whilst keeping it light and fun. Small groups provide one-on-one attention, and Matt has boundless patience to make sure your unique needs are met. I cannot recommend Matt enough to anyone who wants to take the next step (or two) towards improving your photography skills.

I completed the Beginners Photography Workshop at Melbourne Zoo and it was absolutely fabulous. Matt was incredibly approachable, he brought a fantastic sense of humour to all interactions and he was easy to talk to. Matt is knowledgeable, able to simplify the concepts using clever analogies, and he was willing to answer any questions we had relating to our camera/photography experience. He assisted me with advice (including advice that was outside the scope of his workshop so bonus points there) on how to take photos of the animals that I love, and I have been able to implement that. I highly recommend Matt's beginners course to anyone starting their own photography journey, and I will return for the advance wildlife course in due time.

I have just finished Matt's Bootcamp at Bright. As the name implies it was a week of flexing and stretching our technique, creativity and photography skills. While often out of my comfort zone Matt's insights, tips and encouragement had me not only doing things better, but trying things I had feared to try. Overall, my experience with Matt Krumins Photography was truly remarkable. His professionalism, creativity, and warm demeanor make him a standout in the field. Matt is an excellent communicator and educator. I just completed the landscape workshop in Bright. I’ve always had an interest in photography but to get started seemed to hard so pushed it aside. In the first hour I had learnt so much I began to believe I could do it. By the end of the week I still wouldn’t call myself a photographer but I am on a journey and feel well equipped to start me on the journey. Matt’s ability to make what seems complex simple, patience and genuine love of people and photography make him an exceptional instructor. Everyone in the group were at different levels and yet every person felt they were the most important and felt they gained greatly from the workshop. I would highly recommend doing a workshop with Matt to anyone regardless of your photography skills.

I have been lucky enough to do a number of Matt's workshops, most recently the incredible multi-day Bright Bootcamp. It was one of the best investments I have ever made in my photography, as well as being a really fun week. Matt is a brilliant teacher. He has knowledge of all different camera brands, and also caters to a wide range of interests and skill levels. He started the workshop by getting us to set ourselves goals, so we had clear objectives for the week. He taught us a wide range of skills and genres, without it being too complex or jargon heavy. We tried landscapes, astro, macro, waterfalls, portraiture, speed lights, editing, and more! He also gave us all reference cards and printed booklet of lessons to keep and refer to after the workshop. I cannot recommend Matt highly enough and hope to do more of his workshops very soon!

Great class, really well paced. I left knowing a lot more about camera settings and composition but without feeling overwhelmed with too much information.

Loved it, super practical and perfect for getting to know your camera and the foundations. Matt is warm and encouraging and fab at explaining the technical bits in a way anyone can understand!
