I personally have learnt some new ways to take long exposure night shots, and a new creative use for my zoom lens.

I've had the pleasure of doing both the beginner and street photography workshops now. Both were really informative. Matt did a great job of distilling photography concepts which, to me, seemed daunting into practical and easy to apply techniques. I can already see the improvement in the quality of my photos. Most importantly, both of the workshops were a lot of fun!

The course was well paced, engaging and loads of fun. I walked away feeling far more confident using my camera.

Guided us through the basics settings to get quite good photos and what to change to improve colour and brightness of the image. I was able to improve at the end and have good basic information to help with my photos until ready for the next time. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to get into photography and has been struggling with content on YouTube.

I went to Matt's Street and Travel Photography workshop. The day was super well planned and the small class size meant I was able to ask questions and make sure I understood what was being taught. Recently back from Matt's African Safari Workshop. WOW. What an awesome workshop. Accommodation was incredible, with luxurious rooms and amazing food. Kruger NP is also amazing. So many animals all within easy reach of the accommodation. As was expected, Matt's knowledge of both the wildlife and camera functions really made the trip worthwhile. We learnt so much about using our cameras to capture wild animals as well as best practices for fast paced action and long range lenses. Matt is patient and really knows how to explain complex procedures in a way anyone can understand.
Definitely recommend this workshop for photographers of all skill levels.

This was an excellent workshop. Matt is able to clearly explain the concepts and guide the group in applying them to different situations. A great opportunity to learn and pick up new skills which I now look forward to using when I am out with my camera.

I attended Matt’s Melbourne Zoo workshop yesterday and couldn’t be happier. Matt has a fantastic way of making the camera feel far less intimidating — I actually feel confident experimenting with some settings now instead of just pointing, shooting, and hoping for the best. It was such an enjoyable and informative experience, and I’ll definitely be signing up for more of his workshops in the future.

Matts African workshop was simply the best. Personalized attention and opportunities for everyone to get some great shots. His constant reminders of settings ensured that everyone was ready for whatever was going to appear. Back at the lodge he continued working to assist with downloads, editing and suggestions for the next day. Importantly Matt ensured we made the best use of our time in the park to maximise opportunities for sightings and shots.

I recently attended Matt's Wildlife workshop in Kruger the week was amazing. The first night we had Zebras join us at Needles Lodge before dinner and the last morning we had Giraffes join us for Breakfast. The week with Matt on safari was terrific there was only 6 of us and Matt was able to give everyone his attention and his knowledge of all camera brands was amazing. We chased Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Rhinos lots of Zebras, Wildebeest and Girafes to be up close to these amazing animals will be a lifetime memory. Matt's advice on helping you get your best photo was excellent. I would highly recommend this workshop.

Wow, what an amazing time I had on Matt's South Africa Workshop earlier this month!! From beginning to end the whole trip was so well organised and an incredible experience. The accommodation and hospitality at the safari lodge was first class and I had such a fun time with Matt and the other five great people in our group. Matt is a great teacher who puts so much into his workshops, covering all the theory you need while allowing plenty of time to put it into practice and providing personalised support. Highly recommend!

Went to Matt's Kruger National Park, South Africa trip and it was amazing!!! As the trip was limited on numbers we all had great views from the jeep around the park and Matt was super accommodating so we "got the shot". Lots of advice along the way. I want to go again!! We stayed at Needles Lodge which also was fantastic! Highly recommend!
